Some of the more popular low cost or no cost ways are through social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. Other ways include writing articles about you product or service in different forums pertaining to your particular niche. A lot of people have great success with direct mail. You can get a mailing list of people who have an interest in your niche and send them a mailer advertising your website and product. The key is to constantly be marketing your business and website. Other ways to market are printing up some business cards with your information(always include your website) and putting them in your bills when you pay them, putting them on bulletin boards in grocery stores, restaurants and laundry mats.
